Appetizer Ideas for Braunschweiger
These elegant Braunschweiger Canapes feature Jones Dairy Farm Braunschweiger, whipped with butter, green onion, and parsley for a smooth, savory spread. Piped onto toasted brioche rounds and topped with sweet pepper jelly, these bite-sized appetizers offer a perfect balance of rich flavor and refined presentation.
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz. Jones Dairy Farm Braunschweiger Chub
- 1 green onion
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 5 slices brioche bread
- 1/2 cup pepper jelly
- chervil or parsley, for garnish
Directions
Place Braunschweiger, green onion, and parsley in food processor. Add butter and process until smooth. Place in a disposable pastry bag with a small star tip.
Using a 1 1/2″ round cutter, cut four rounds out of each slice of brioche.
Toast brioche in a 350°F oven until golden brown.
Place pepper jelly in a small disposable pastry bag.
Pipe Braunschweiger mixture on each brioche round.
Top with dollop of pepper jelly and garnish with chervil.
