DIRECTIONS
Directions for Sweet Potato Chips:
Heat your air fryer to 350° F.
Peel and very thinly slice sweet potatoes. A mandolin works great for this!
Toss potato slices in a bowl with oil, ensuring each slice is lightly coated with the oil.
Mix the brown sugar, chili powder, cumin and salt in a small bowl.
Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the sweet potatoes. Toss so each slice is seasoned.
Lay the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer.
Air fry at 350° F for 7 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Keep a close eye on your chips so they don’t burn.
Remove from air fryer and let cool on a cooling rack. The chips will crisp up more as they cool.
Directions for Creamy Hot Bacon Dip:
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Combine all ingredients, saving ½ cup of cheese, 2 tablespoons of bacon, and 1 tablespoon of green onions for topping. Place into an oven safe casserole dish (2 quart). Top with remaining ½ cup cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
Broil for 1 minute to give the cheese a nicely toasted texture and color.
Carefully remove from oven and garnish with reserved bacon and green onions.
