Components of a proper English Breakfast are reimagined as a sandwich in this innovative breakfast recipe.

This recipe is made with Jones Dry Aged Bacon.

8 oz Hickory Bacon
ingredients
1 (6-8 oz) burger patty, made of 70% beef and 30% spicy breakfast sausage
2 slices potato bread*, lightly toasted and buttered
1 plum tomato, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons white or baby bella mushrooms, sliced and fried
1 egg, fried as desired
2 slices Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon, cooked
1 tablespoon Heinz HP brown sauce

*Or, substitue English muffin, toasted and buttered
DIRECTIONS
Cook burger on grill or griddle to desired doneness. Let rest atop one slice of toasted potato bread.

Season tomato slices with salt and pepper; broil on high heat until roasted.

Top burger patty with fried mushrooms, broiled tomato slices, fried egg, bacon slices and brown sauce. Place remaining slice of bread on top and serve with additional brown sauce.
