Crisp on the outside, warm and creamy on the inside, this mashup of the popular rumaki hors d'oeuvre and a ham roll-up is a tasty appetizer for any occasion.

This recipe is made with Jones Dry Aged Bacon.

8 oz Hickory Bacon
ingredients
10 ounces Jones Dairy Farm Braunschweiger (chunk or sliced) 
10 slices Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Hickory Smoked Bacon
10 slices of soft white bread
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1/2 cup sliced green onions
3/4 cup chopped dill pickles or water chestnuts
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cut crusts off all 10 slices of bread. Flatten each slice with rolling pin.  

Place one ounce Braunschweiger on top of each slice of bread. Spread cream cheese on top. Sprinkle one edge of bread with green onions and water chestnuts or pickles. Starting from same edge, roll bread. Wrap each roll with one slice of bacon.  

Place on foil lined cookie sheet, seam side down. Bake 30 minutes or until bacon is slightly crispy.

Allow to cool before eating.
