A favorite at any barbeque, these beans are quick and easy to make. You can also heat them in a slow cooker for four hours on high prior to serving.

Delicious--will definitely make again. I used two 15-ounce cans of pork and beans instead of the 28-ounce can of barbeque beans. I also omitted the can of lima beans, so the dish was meatier. I substituted an 8-ounce can of tomato sauce for the canned tomatoes, as I thought it might contribute too much liquid to the sauce. I did use a spicy barbeque sauce (siracha barbeque) and one tablespoon of liquid smoke in the recipe, which gave it a smokey heat.
